Why is it hard to put ourselves first

Something I was thinking about recently is why do we struggle to put our own needs first and focus more on what others will think of us instead of doing what's best for us.

No, I know that sounds crazy but stick with me...

Many people put off getting hearing aids because they fear judgment, but hearing aids will change their lives and positively impact them if they are used.

Now technology is not perfect but hearing aids can bring so much joy into your life when you realize that it helps you get back into the conversations and get back into social settings because they're there to help you communicate more effectively.

Without my hearing aids I cannot contribute to conversations I cannot comfortably or confidently feel included in social settings.

With my hearing aids, I am more confident, more comfortable, and have more of a chance of communicating effectively because I'm putting my needs first by using an assistive device to help me.

HEARING AIDS ARE COOL and don't you forget it😜
